Completion Scheduled for Q2 2021 – Tranquility at Hope School (Marianna, FL)
In 2018 the Florida Panhandle was devastated by Hurricane Michael, the fourth strongest hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. In 2019, Florida Housing requested applications for HOME Investment Partnership Program funding from developers who were committed to rebuilding housing in the counties most impacted by the hurricane. Timshel Development Group and East Lake Community Development were awarded HOME funding and are extremely excited to develop Tranquility at Hope School, a beautiful apartment community in Marianna, FL just south of I-10. The community will have two residential buildings with a total of 30 three bedroom, two bath units and will have many desirable features for families, including: a splash pad, picnic pavilion, playground and a community building with a business center, fitness center, and various resident services. The entire community will be ICC 700 National Green Building Standard Certified and will have energy-star appliances, windows, ceiling fans and light fixtures. Tranquility at Hope School will be a wonderful community for many families to call home and is expected to open in late spring or early summer of 2021.
